Ye Olde FJ performed almost flawlessly. A pannier frame came loose on the first day, then cracked all the way through by about halfway through the trip. The bit which failed had been made by me some 5 years previously, so wasn't really the bikes fault. The main beam switch got a bit irritating when it got rain in it, switching to high beam randomly. But, all in all, for a bike which started the trip at 90,000 miles and finished it at 95,000 it didn't do to badly, and even managed a respectable pace round the 'Ring
