Apart from the chain guard constantly falling off ¹ - in excess of six times I believe - and the unpredictable fuel consumption the Bandit did pretty well. It seems to return better mpg being consistently thrashed than plodding along at a constant 50 mph. Oh... and the alarm kept going off every ten minutes for the first couple of days. Oh... and the rear shock packed up at the 'Ring. Oh... and the panniers rubbed large amounts of paint off. Oh... and the snotoiler packed up and its contents mysteriously became emulsified.

¹ I eventually totally removed it when it came lose on the way back to the ferry and I couldn't find any more obvious excess bolts.
