Today was to be the first fun day's riding. We headed off from Bregenz into Lichtenstein where we stopped for the compulsory tacky souvenirs before heading off on a great day's riding through Switzerland & Austria, ending up in Salzburg. Highlights of the day included discovering that Swiss café's don't take Visa, so we had to use Deutsch marks, and the challenge of buying a Swiss army knife in Switzerland - surprisingly tricky! Due to the complete lack of hotel space in Salzburg we ended up invading a campsite at some ungodly hour of the morning and pitched up. |
